I am Saad Been Mosharof, currently serving as a Faculty Member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh. In addition to teaching and academic responsibilities, I have contributed to several international conferences and peer-reviewed journals in the fields of heat transfer, multiphase flow, and computational modeling.
My academic journey began at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), where I earned my B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with Honours (Class Rank: 8/210). I am currently working on the effect of laser–matter interaction dynamics on ultrafast laser ablation of copper. In this research, I employ hybrid molecular dynamics and continuum models to simulate extreme thermal conditions.
Alongside my academic career, I gained professional experience as an Assistant Manager in the O&M and Commissioning Department at Bangladesh-India Friendship Power Company Ltd. (BIFPCL), where I worked on the commissioning of boiler and turbine auxiliaries, raw-water treatment plants, and firefighting systems..
